Automated systems can act quickly and repeatedly, so bankroll limits and pause rules should be configured before any live strategy is enabled.

Use paper mode first. Review the ledger for rejected actions, cap events, settlement quality, and losing periods before considering live automation. Start with stakes lower than you think you need. Never stake money required for rent, debt payments, food, taxes, payroll, or family obligations. If a strategy or session makes you feel pressure to recover losses, stop the automation.
